🚗 Transportation – How to Get to Nayang Beach Resort

Nayang Beach Resort is located in the northwest corner of Taichung, within the Daan Beach area.
The resort is surrounded by coastal nature and is slightly off the main transportation grid.

The most reliable ways are:

  • TRA train (臺鐵) to Dajia Station, then taxi or bus
  • Direct bus 658 from Taichung Airport (RMQ)
  • Car or taxi

 

✈️ Arriving from Airports

  1. From Taichung International Airport (RMQ)
    (🌟 Most convenient option for RMQ travelers)
    You have two ways to reach Nayang Beach Resort:

    Option A: Bus 658 (Direct, Budget-Friendly)

    • Bus stop is right at Taichung Airport
    • Take Taichung Bus 658 toward Daan Coastal Park (大安濱海樂園)
    • Get off at Daan Recreation Beach — the stop is right next to the resort parking lot
    • Walk a few steps → resort staff will assist with check-in

    Travel time: approx. 1.5 hours
    Fare: around NT$60–70
    ✔ Best for budget travelers
    ✔ No transfers needed
    ✔ Luggage-friendly

    Option B: Taxi (Fastest & Easiest)

    • Taxi from Taichung Airport directly to the resort
    • Travel time: approx. 30 minutes
    • Fare: NT$600–800

    ✔ Most convenient with luggage or small children
    ✔ Door-to-door
    ✔ Zero transfers

  2. From Taoyuan Airport (TPE)
    Recommended route:
    Step 1: Take Airport MRT → Taoyuan HSR Station
    Step 2: Take HSR southbound → Taichung HSR Station
    Step 3: Walk 1–2 min to TRA Xinwuri Station (新烏日)
    Step 4: Take TRA train → Dajia Station (大甲)
    Step 5: Taxi or Bus 658 to the resort

 

 

🚄 From Taichung HSR Station

  1. Walk to TRA Xinwuri Station (新烏日)
    The two stations are connected; walk time is 1–2 minutes.
  2. Take TRA Train → Dajia Station (大甲)
    • Travel time: ~35–40 min
    • Fare: NT$45–60
  3. From Dajia Station → Nayang Beach Resort

    Option A: Taxi (Recommended)

    Travel time: ~20 min
    Fare: NT$300–400

    Option B: Bus 658

    Bus stop is right in front of Dajia Station
    Travel time: ~30 min
    Get off at Daan Recreation Beach (last bus stop)

Approx. driving times:

  • Taichung City → 45–55 min
  • Taichung Airport → 30–40 min
  • Taichung HSR → 45 min
  • Taipei → 1 hr 40 min
  • Kaohsiung → 2 hr 15 min

Parking

A large parking lot is available.
Resort staff will assist with shuttle service and luggage handling.

  1. Follow signs for 向海那漾 Nayang Beach Resort
  2. Park in the guest parking area
  3. Our team will greet you and assist with check-in
  4. Shuttle service available for mobility and luggage
